Our SAP BW Developers have advanced programming knowledge in SAP development and testing and solid knowledge of SAP overall. Developer has in depth knowledge in at least 2 technical areas of SAP development tools with a firm understanding of SAP architecture. The BW Developer is involved in all phases of a life cycle implementation, including development of specifications, prototypes, design, configuration, testing, go-live, user training and post production support. The SAP BW Developer works closely with our functional configuration consultants to ensure accuracy and completeness of functional requirements creates technical specifications and the development of programs according to specifications. The BW Developer is responsible for technical component delivery as well as full integration testing and assumes responsibility for testing the application code from a technical perspective to verify that programs follow standards and meets technical specifications. The BW developer will actively participate in work groups and work sessions with functional and technical consultants and lead groups and work sessions with functional and technical consultants when required.

Critical Knowledge
Ideal candidates will have minimum 4 years working in SAP BW development and experience working on at least 2 full software lifecycle developments. The consultant should have demonstrable skills of interfacing with customers and gathering requirements as necessary. The candidate needs to have depth and breadth in their core SAP expertise and experience in integration with an ERP environment. The individual should be capable of leading a mid to large size team with 10 - 15 resources and able to deliver solutions with minimum or no guidance from project managers. Good writing and documentation skills are required. In addition, the candidate will have background with interfaces, SAP bolt-ons and components external to SAP, batch networking and following through with SAP Notes and Messages.

Critical Skills
Must have:
SAP Core Experience in BW 7.0 - at least 2 life cycles in PP, MM, FI, CO and HR.
Build and enhance BW objects such as InfoObjects, InfoCubes, InfoSources/Data Sources, Master Data, Transformations, Update Rules, DSO, Extractors, Infosets, Aggregates, Process Chains, DTPs, User Exits, BADI.
Business Explorer Suite (Required) (BEx Query Designer, BEx Web Analyzer, BEx Broadcaster, Report Designer, BW Web Reporting)
Responsible for requirements gathering & analysis, working closely with business users
Monitor, communicate and troubleshoot issues with data integrity, data design, and functional and technical software issues.
Develop and drive the implementation of BW best practices and standards for the team.
Perform routine program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, and unit testing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lead design sessions/workshops
Must understand and demonstrate core Business Intelligence principles and methodologies
Must have participated in at least 3 full successful life cycle Business Intelligence implementations / projects
Must understand how to integrate data from multiple sources systems, including legacy systems with SAP
Able to independently analyze customer requirements to architect, design, and build a comprehensive data warehouse infrastructure
Must have a strong understanding of BI project methodology as well as strong understanding of all aspects of the BI implementation lifecycle
Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
ABAP/4 and Object Oriented ABAP programming, macros, customer exits
BusniessObjects tools - Crystal Reports, Dashboards, WebIntelligence
Integrated Planning
BWA Administration
Certified in BW 7.0
Working knowledge on BW 7.30
Experience with BW Release 7.0 is essential. SAP ECC 6.0 certification is a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
