Responsibilities The VP of Strategic and Growth is a senior level position reporting to the Sector President and General Manager of Air & Missile Defense and C4ISR. Assist the President, Business Units, BD and Capture team formulate a Strategy, synchronized across the sectors and in line with the Corporation that enables growth across the company. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining client relationships to increase business and revenue throughout the sector. They are responsible for participating in Company strategic decision-making about products portfolio and business development; expanding AMD & C4ISR customer bases to include cross sector growth, and achieving Company growth goals, promoting Customer satisfaction and fostering strong customer strategic relationships. Establishes sales targets and develops strategic sales plans to ensure the company meets its revenue and profit goals. Duties and
Responsibilities:
Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region. Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals. Developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term. Overseeing all phases of Air & Missile Defense and C4ISR development activities to ensure business and financial objectives are attained. Directing the development of new strategic business opportunities and expansion of existing business opportunities. Educating customers with presentations at seminars and regular meetings. Reviewing sector expenses and recommending improvements. Maintaining and developing key relationships among government, civilian, and professional groups to ensure awareness of available business opportunities Participating and contributing in Company strategic decision-making about products portfolio, technology road map, business development and company core capabilities. Interfacing with other company sector Vice Presidents, Directors, and local representatives. Performing other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Typically requires a Bachelors or Masters in business administration or a related field and fifteen or more years of progressively complex experience in business development or aerospace/defense program management with at least 10 years managing business development activities. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education. 10 years of strategic level business development and capture experience. 10 years of experience developing and implementing company and/or large business unit's strategy DoD Security Clearance is required.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
