Responsibilities Blue Halo is seeking a Senior Facility Security Officer-Sector Lead in Huntsville, AL to lead security operations for our Defense Systems Sector. This position will report directly to the Director of Corporate Security, with co-reporting to the Sector President/GM Defense Systems in Huntsville. This position manages security operations across a large business portfolio, assuring the security of people, facilities, programs, and operations in a highly dynamic, diverse, and geographically dispersed set of National Security efforts. The successful candidate will provide senior oversight and leadership to Program and Industrial Security Operations spanning all Defense System programs as well as the Huntsville Site. Will be part of the sector security leadership team, enabling planning and execution of all aspects of the Blue Halo security for programs, contracts and operations ranging from unclassified/BlueHalo Proprietary to Collateral, Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development for a small security professionals. Ensure that the team fosters a cohesive and collaborative environment where diversity and innovation is encouraged. Interface with all levels of corporate and government management personnel for all pertinent security issues Coordinate with senior business area leadership to resolve issues that could have an impact on the security, safety and compliance of employees, programs, facilities and operations Will apply expert multi-discipline program security management experience (Program Security, OPSEC, PERSEC, Physical Security, Technical Security, Information Assurance, INFOSEC, COMSEC, etc.) to enable execution, reduce/eliminate redundancies, and assure cross-discipline and cross-organizational teamwork through consistent and repeatable process management Oversee implementation of processes related to classified contract management, program security, classified programs, insider threat, Counterintelligence awareness, Supply Chain Security, compliance with government standards, COMSEC, workplace violence prevention, security awareness, asset protection, access control, badge and identification, and ITAR/Export related security measures Manage the integration of all security initiatives across the organization and ensure employee engagement and facilities change as necessary to meet contract compliance while meeting operational and business goals Oversee site emergency and crisis management planning and execution, with integrating role in sector crisis management and business resilience planning and execution Oversee the investigation of Security incidents and assist with disciplinary and legal matters as necessary Responsible for providing input to the Security budget. Qualifications Candidates must have at least 13 to 15 years of hands-on experience in Industrial Security across the entire security spectrum (DOD, IC and NISPOM - Collateral, SCI and SAP), Physical Security, Cyber Information Assurance, COMSEC and Emergency/Crisis Management planning and execution Must have at least 6 years of demonstrated management and/or leadership experience in National Security classified programs and managing complex resources and budgets for small security teams Candidates must have a current DOD Top Secret/SCI level security clearance in order to be considered Completion of FSO Possessing Certification and Insider Threat Program Senior Official Training Experience with the development and implementation of security related training to include Initial Security Briefings, Insider Threat, CI awareness and OPSEC, just to name a few Demonstrated experience in the construction of secure spaces such as Closed Areas, SCIFs and SAPF Completion of the ICD 705 Course
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Government & Military, Plant & Facilities ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
