BlueHalo is seeking a Command and Control Systems Engineer. The Command and Control Systems Engineer provides system engineering support to assist the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Capabilities and Limitations assessment of the Ballistic Missile Defense System. This position is located in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities The System Assessment team supports engineering specialists in the assessment of capability and limitations of the Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS) to enable well informed decisions. Ensure the system under assessment is correctly characterized, capabilities and limitations accurately documented and understood. Provide recommendations on additions and improvements to the Missile Defense Systems. Capabilities and limitations characterizations is the premier product from System Assessment. Capabilities and limitations are the vehicles of educating and informing our customers. At every assessment, decision, and /or declaration, capabilities and limitations of the system will be presented. The candidate will work closely with Missile Defense Systems Elements engineering staff, other functional groups, and data analyst to deliver high quality and accurate information to facilitate decisions by the highest level of MDA leadership and Geographical Commanders. Qualifications Required Qualifications:

years of relevant experience Bachelor's (STEM) and Master's degrees Active Secret Clearance Expertise in the operations of a BMD weapons systems Fire control Detailed understanding of integrated Layered missile defense Demonstrate Joint interoperability understanding (Link-16, CMF/VMF) Demonstrate understanding of Command and Control of a complex weapon system at an Air Operation Center (AOC) structure and command relationships Demonstrated understanding of system architecture, systems engineering, computer engineering, hardware/software integration, and data engineering disciplines Experience successfully leading matrixed, geographically diverse technical product and engineering project teams Ability to assess Weapon task plans and engagement sequences Working knowledge of integrated air and missile defense communications Expertise with DoD lower and upper tier weapon systems Knowledge of electro-Optical /Infrared (EO/IR) sensors and associated systems Experience with MDA Ground Test, Flight Test, and Element testing data results

Ability to think critically (i.e. research, understand, analyze, synthesize, and critique), creating solutions to new and one-of-a-kind program challenges and issues as they arise Ability to propose and execute technical project solutions which align with customer strategic goals, proposing courses of action based on overarching leadership goals and objectives Experience writing and coordinating engineering and technology integration and migration strategies Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and produce and present clear, concise, well-organized, and audience-relevant presentations and documents Conscientious, agreeable, and open-minded individual who can lead teams to creatively meet technical challenges, drive groups to create solutions, and orchestrate deployment actions Understanding of Blue force / Red force laydowns in BMD operations for Homeland Defense and Geographical Regional Defense Understanding of how weapons and sensors elements are fully integrated with each other and external systems Understanding of BMDS OPIR architecture Basic understanding of sensor Management (Radar and Space Based) BMDS system functionality experience with C2BMC Energetic, conscientious, collaborative, and self starting Ability to apply creative thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking, and strategic thinking Experience with DoD systems and system-of-systems Experience working in the Missile Defense Agency or the Missile Defense mission domain Experience working with analyst to garner relevant data Experience with data visualization tools ( e.g, tableau) Ability to create a positive, collaborative working relationship with representatives and stakeholders from external organizations Ability to negotiate best technical and program solutions within environmental and leadership constraints
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
