Senior Model Based Systems Engineer at Smartronix in Huntsville, AL

We are seeking a Senior MOSA Model Based Systems Engineer to lead and/or support projects for our Army Aviation customers. Will be responsible for using MBSE tools (i.e., Rhapsody, MagicDraw, Cameo EA) and techniques to support requirements development, system design, and development of system use cases. Our systems engineer will develop and maintain models using Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), FVL Architecture Framework (FAF), and/or Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM). The successful candidate will develop system models and create system representations using data architectures and data models to facilitate interoperability and implement and manage system architectures in the MBSE environment. Will also develop system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios used in the conduct of software and hardware system integration testing and performs analysis of integration results to assess system impacts. years of related Systems Engineering experience on complex Aviation platforms and systems Detailed knowledge and understanding of UML/SysML/FAF and MBSE tools such as Rhapsody, MagicDraw, and/or Cameo Enterprise Architect Knowledge of DoD architectures, requirements development, verification, test, and system integration to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering Familiarity and experience with FVL Architecture Framework (FAF) Experience developing, reviewing, and adjudicating MBSE models across the enterprise Experience leading IPTs and coordinating across multiple stakeholders for MBSE projects Understanding of system interface requirements and requirements management
Qualifications:
Experience implementing Model Based Engineering (MBE)/Digital Engineering (DE) to develop a modular open system architecture (MOSA) for DoD systems Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) System Administration MG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional or equivalent Experience with AADL
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
