Army Meter Program (AMP) System Analyst performs analysis and evaluates user requirements, problems, etc. on major system projects and support services including advanced state-of-the-art IT/OT services that will continue to expand due to new missions, IT/OT initiatives, and changing customer requirements. Principal Duties and Responsibilities ( Essential Functions):
Responsible for performing system analysis and root cause analysis of AMP major system project problems. Responsible for reviewing AMP user requirements and for providing direction in identifying problems and possible solutions. Responsible for providing analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of complex AMP systems. Responsible for defining AMP system objectives and for preparing system design specifications that fit user's needs. Responsible for developing system as-built documentation of systems already deployed. Formulates logical statements of user requirements and develops solutions. Responsible for implementing system design specifications. Responsible for working with AMP system users to define problem areas, data availability, report requirements, etc. May define AMP input and output file specifications including file organization. May be responsible for defining controls, conversion procedures and system implementation plans. May be responsible for creating test plans and procedures. May assist in analyzing requirements to ensure testability. May develop system architecture diagrams. Required:
Bachelor's degree in related field, or the equivalent experience Minimum of eight years' work related experience Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams Working knowledge of applicable database languages MS SQL, Oracle, MS Access, ETL Processes Proficient with Visio
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Business AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
