Job Description:
Supports a team performing Cybersecurity Systems functions supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process for tactical systems. Provides accurate technical evaluations of the FMS equipment, software applications, full system, or network. Documents the security posture, capabilities, and vulnerabilities against applicable National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) controls. Implement security controls, timely completion of accreditation packages, formulating and implementing mitigations and maintaining the security posture of systems. Identify, assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout a system's lifecycle, validating system security requirements. Formulates and maintains documentation and system certification and accreditation activities (planning, testing, assessing and coordinating). Documents preliminary or residual security risks for system operation. Manages and approves Authorization Packages to include monitoring , analyzing, and evaluating a system's compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) security. provide solutions and to ensure continued functionality of systems within the DoD Risk Management Framework. Require ABET accredited BS degree in an Engineering discipline or technically related field Minimum 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity Experience with implementing and evaluating DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements, NIST RMF, Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Cybersecurity assessment tools (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Nessus, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC), STIG Viewer. Experience with cryptographic technologies. Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and NIST security controls. Knowledge of information system architecture and standards as they apply to cyber security. Must be a US citizen. Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance. Ability to travel. Desired Master's degree preferred. 8570 IASAE level III preferred (i.e. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Minimum 8570 Information Assurance System Architects and Engineers (IASAE) l Certification (i.e. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Experience in a DoD security environment preferred. Strong communication and writing skills; be able to work in a team-oriented environment supporting a diverse customer base comprised of program managers, engineers, analysts, specialists, and technicians; and strong attention to detail. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
