Project Management Associate
Candidate will provide operational support to projects and take over some dedicated Project Management (PM) or Product Technical Management (PTM) tasks. Candidate will be a member of a critical function within the Project Management team supporting people, process and Information Technology/Operational Technology in alignment to business goals. Candidate will be performing duties in direct support of project, program, and portfolio management including data entry, documentation, analysis, reporting and developing recommendations. Candidate will be a member of a highly-collaborative and fast-paced team that is intensely focused on using IT/OT. Principal Duties and Responsibilities ( Essential functions)Develops and interprets policies in specific program areas, and provides leadership, coordination, and authoritative advice to top officials in the development of cooperative relationships, resulting in the formulation and execution of progressive and comprehensive programs that meet Army goals and objectives Directs, administers, and evaluates programs, policies, and procedures in the required program areas Revise Project Management Plans and best business practices, as required Maintain a good relationship with customer(s) and on-site staff ensuring responsiveness to both Coordinate and assist with project transition and phase in tasks Periodically confer with on-site project personnel and supervisors to ensure technical questions are being resolved Follow QA procedures to ensure quality control performed by others is properly implemented throughout projects. Develop Projects schedules to include milestones Ensure project budgetary goals are being met Write detailed daily reports pertaining to jobsite milestones Perform inspections, testing of utility monitoring systems. Coordinate project work internally within the department and externally with other departments to ensure all projects are completed on time Ability to troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues. Ability to act independently and to coordinate the work of other employees and contractors on a customer site Preferred Qualifications Experience with IT/OT in an operational environment Certifications:
PMI PMP or DAWIA Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 8 years work related experience, including 3 years supervisory experience Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings Proficient using MS Office applications, Project Willing to travel 10% with the continental U.S. SECRET Security Clearance Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen Minimum SECRET Security Clearance This is a full time position located in Huntsville, AL.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
