Quick Apply Full-time 4 days ago Full Job Description Program Manager - Electronics Manufacturing Huntsville, Alabama @Orchard has an opportunity with an electronic manufacturing company located in Huntsville, AL for an experienced Program Manager tasked with the execution of customer strategies related to one or more customers including all products/programs from new product introduction through volume production.
The Program Manager is expected to achieve high customer satisfaction, drive profitable business relationships and sales growth, and with provision of strong leadership to the customer focus teams to ensure the achievement of customer commitments.
As the Program Manager you will.
Lead the Customer Focus Team (CFT).
Be the primary day-to-day customer point of contact including all resolution management and the overall health of the customer relationship.
Ensure successful new product introduction.
Execute tasks to NPI standard process, understand and monitor S&OP, and identify and secure effective transitions.
Manage pricing and ECO prioritization, understand, and maintain customer product knowledge and roadmap, along with understanding the customer market and competition.
Establish and monitor KPIs related to E&O, PPV, and inventory turns.
Manage recurring pricing activities and use the contract, pricing model, and updated costs to present new pricing to customers.
Monitor and investigate technical, scheduling, financial, and quality metrics, which deviate from established requirements; determine the cause, and take corrective action.
Schedule Executive Business Reviews (EBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), and ensure appropriate attendees are well prepared for meetings with clarity around the agenda and meeting objectives.
Provide timely notification to GMs and global program managers of critical problems encountered, action taken, and anticipated effect on project objectives, including continuous improvement initiatives.
Work with SCA to ensure the resolution of excess and obsolete inventory issues.
Ensure customer demand (PO and Forecast) is managed and well understood by CFT members, and communicate updated data to close the gap between a customer request and benchmark commitment.
Ensure execution to contract terms and conditions to meet Benchmark's obligations.
Coordinate with procurement organization to develop a supply chain strategy that aligns with customer contracts and site goals.
Identify any risk of inventory exposure, coordinate reserve with site controller, and manage inventory days of sales.
Ensure a Positive Price Variances alignment to site goals at the point of sale.
Coordinate the collection and distribution of customer-quality data.
Possess sound negotiating ability including the ability to effectively explore alternatives and positions to reach mutually beneficial sales agreements that gain customers' acceptance and commitment.
Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to assess individual and team results (i.
e.
, metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, knowledge of roles and responsibilities, and personal development goals).
Drive a lean culture such as identifying creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.
e.
, modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
Your background will include Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field of study Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Design for Excellent (DFX) methods, including design for manufacturing, design for test, and design for BOM or cost.
Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager with direct responsibility for managing customer expectations within a manufacturing environment.
PMP certification is preferred.
