We are part of a national brand that is a vertically integrated provider of quality garage storage cabinets, floor coating systems and organizational products.
We are growing and need to hire an Installation Crew Member to install Epoxy Flooring and Storage Cabinet & Organization Systems.
Our North Alabama location is based in New Market, AL.
Job Description:
The Installation Crew Member is responsible for providing high quality installations of our products in a professional and timely manner.
The successful candidate must have a great attitude, passion/ability for doing great work and be able to work effectively with the Installation Crew Leader.
On the job training will be provided to the right candidate.
Starting pay will be $13.
00 per hour and will move to $14.
00 per hour upon completion of a 90-day training / probationary period.
Performance will be reviewed no less than annually thereafter with compensation adjusted accordingly.
Work hours will vary by job but would typically be between 8:
30am and 5pm Eastern.
Saturday work may periodically be required.
Candidates should be flexible to work between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday thru Friday and Saturdays as needed.
Overtime may be required at times.
Basic
Qualifications:
Minimum Screening Requirements:
Must pass a criminal background screening and drug test.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no DUIs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
An in-person interview will be required.
Professionalism:
Must be reliable.
Must have an eye for detail.
Should maintain a neat personal appearance.
Must be able to take direction well and learn from training / coaching.
Working with Others:
Must be a team player.
Should be respectful and courteous when working with customers and coworkers.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Work requires standing, stooping, twisting, grabbing, reaching (shoulder and above), kneeling and bending regularly.
Some tasks may require the use of a ladder.
Job Specific Skills:
Able to operate floor and hand grinders.
Able to assemble cabinets.
Able to install cabinets.
Able to apply floor coatings.
Able to complete installations within required time frame.
Must be able to work quickly while maintaining a clean, organized working area.
Able to read and comprehend installation manuals (available in English).
Must be capable of learning to properly mix the materials without spilling or staining surrounding areas.
Must be able to work with power tools and operate them safely.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience installing floor coatings is a plus.
Experience assembling and installing cabinets is a plus.
Recent OSHA training is a plus.
