Radar Engineer/Analyst - Junior to Mid-level (CTEC/SCTEC)

CFD Research is seeking a talented Radar Analyst/Engineer to join a well-established AvMC/S3I CTEC/SCTEC team that supports analysis of missile defense systems.
The candidate will work with radar algorithms and phenomenology, RCS modeling, tactical software & hardware, and all-digital representations of complex missile defense radars such as AN/TPY-2 and LRDR.
Common tasks for this position include scenario design, development, and execution, analysis tool development, and application of new or existing tools to perform complex analysis on radar system performance.
The candidate will enhance their understanding of critical radar functions including acquisition, tracking, discrimination, scheduling, advanced functions, and system-level interactions.
The candidate will work in a dynamic environment that promotes team interaction, collaboration, and the development of creative solutions to challenging problems.
Required Skills/
Experience:
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess an Active Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Math from an accredited institution Junior and mid-level experience candidates (3-10 years) will be considered Proficient in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, signal and data processing, electromagnetics, and/or system engineering Proficient in modeling and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, and/or similar tools Ability to work effectively in team environments and independently Good communication skills (verbal and written) Preferred
Experience:
Experience with MDA radar analysis, radar systems engineering, and/or radar operations Experience with radar signal/detection injection HWIL systems Experience leading the development of complex analysis tools using MATLAB Experience with fire control systems and simulation frameworks Location:
This role is based in the Huntsville, AL area, and is 100% onsite.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
