Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems.
We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions.
You will work in a group of fast-paced design engineers to support design, development, and deployment of advanced sensor systems.
This position requires the development of Technical Data Packages using CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo), PDM/PLM systems (Agile/Windchill), and supporting software (Visio/AutoCAD) for the production and documentation of complex systems and components.
The design activities are full spectrum and include integration of electronic assemblies, simulation and analysis of structural and thermal problems, and documentation of supporting cable harnesses for electrical systems.
Basic QualificationsMust have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a STEM discipline from an ABET accredited school with 8 to 12 years of applicable experience.
The ideal candidate will bring familiarity with CAD software and understanding of design best practices and concepts, with strong rapid prototyping skills that include design for 3D printing, CNC machining, and a self-starting, hands-on approach to problem solving.
Other QualificationsPreference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a history of providing creative, multi-disciplinary solutions to complex problems.
Position will require up to 10% travel.
Security RequirementsCandidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
