Perform the essential functions required to safely move vehicles throughout the customers' property in preparation for shipment.
Associates designated as Senior/Lead Vehicle Shuttle have mastered the skills required of a Vehicle Shuttle and are able to perform essentially error-free work without direct supervision.
Expectation:
We expect all associates to be committed to a high standard of safety, be willing and able to comply with all safety policies/rules and willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory personnel.
Individuals performing this function must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
Job Performance without equipment damage is essential to meeting our customers' safety, quality and production requirements.
Responsibilities:
Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures; Conduct Vehicle inventory; Where applicable assist in the operation of a tag/rinse vehicle wash facility; Drive manual and standard transmission motor vehicles, at all times, in accordance with company and customer instructions/procedures; Drive vehicles to proper parking bay by assigned route; Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such a level as in determined by the company's sole discretion; Perform housekeeping duties as required by site management; Must be able to work mandatory overtime hours when operating requirements or other business needs of Road & Rail Services cannot be fulfilled during regular business hours.

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED or ability.
Experience Requirements:
No prior experience needed to perform below the Senior Vehicle Shuttle position.
Skills, Licenses, Certification, and/or Special Training:
Must maintain a valid state driver's license if required to operate company equipment; Must be able to safely operate vehicles with either a standard and/or automatic transmission; Meet and maintain all requirements contained in the Conditions of Employment policy.
Physical, Mental & Sensory Requirements:
Ability to constantly work in an indoor/outdoor environment, exposed to all weather elements, including extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions; In locations that operate a tag/rinse facility; ability to frequently be exposed to conditions of airborne water vapor and condensation; Constantly required to use bending, kneeling, twisting and walking motions to enter/exit vehicles and shuttle vans; Possess physical strength and agility to constantly open and close automobile doors throughout shift; Constantly perform prolonged standing and/or walking at a rapid pace to keep up with demands of plant operations up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift; Ability to read Vehicle Identification Numbers and other shipping documents; Must be able to hear and communicate, work or safety instructions spoken in a normal voice; Must have visual acuity and normal depth perception in both eyes to inspect and drive motor vehicles in limited lighting to include night/dusk and inside plant operations.
Ability to communicate telephonically with two-way radios; Must be able to work independently; Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment; Must be able to walk on a moving assembly line belt.
Conditions of Employment:
Employment is conditional, based on a medical examination which includes a drug screen, and an examination to verify candidates can safely perform the essential functions of the job.
Road & Rail Services requires a post-offer motor vehicle reference check, background check, and employment and military (if applicable) verification required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
