Cost Analyst with Security Clearance
Overview Looking for a COST ANALYST to join our Utility Helicopter team supporting a customer in Huntsville, ALResponsibilities Duties will include, but are not limited to:
o Provides support and recommendations to cost estimating/analysis, schedule development/assessment, program management plans and integration, strategic planning and analysis, acquisition and fielding support, data base management, technical, logistical and operational requirements.
o Supports the various mission requirements for successful execution of program office acquisition initiatives for on-going production, sustainment and retrofit of the fleet.
o Responsible for developing and maintaining the Program Office estimate in the ACEIT model.
o Assembles Independent Cost Estimates.
o Maintains the APB status.
o Supports and/or provides research, analysis and data for BCAs.
o Prepares and maintains the Cost Analysis Requirement Description (CARD).
o Manages and analyzes Analysis of Alternatives (AoA).
o Provides analysis in support of cost effectiveness related studies.
o Arranges cost reduction analysis.
o Contructs cost and technical risk analysis.
o Prepares and inputs transparency data into the AE2S database system.
o Prepares and inputs all programmatic and cost information required in the Army reporting system to include the P-forms.
o Develops and/or provides inputs to internal and higher headquarters program briefings including Configuration Steering Board (CSB), Weapon System Review (WSR), and Program Management Review (PMR).
o Develops and provides data for budget formulation and alignment in support of what-if drills.
o Supports and provides input to internal and higher headquarters data analysis and collectionAlso provides analysis of logistics activities including aircraft flight hours and maintenance costs for use in development of the program O&S requirements.
o Analyzes data and prepares the Will Cost/Should Cost and Better Buying Power Initiative information.
o Utilizes Government databases including WSR, UADDE, AIM, APB, Congressional Marks, DAMIR, PPBE, ASARS and TransparencyQualificationso Must possess an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigationMust be able to maintain the required clearance.
o Bachelor's Degree in related field and 21 years of related experience is required.
o Relevent experience in Cost Estimatingo Experience with tasks directly related to the proposed area of responsibility to include coordination and development of Independent Government Cost Estimates in support of Acquisition Plans, Justifications and Approval (J&A) documents, Performance Work Statements, and Request for Proposals.
o Collaborates with Business Management Team, Technical Management, and Logistics Management to establish cost estimates in support of the program's acquisition and execution strategies.
o Knowledge of aviation aircraft, system maintenance, recognition, and readinesso Acquisition and/or sustainment cost estimatingo Review/analyze technical data received from vendors/OEM Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols #CJ #CJ Recommended Skills Aviation Business Management Data Analysis Databases Drilling Operations Maintenance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
