Facilities Specialist- Entry Level with Security Clearance
Summary Chenega Integrated Security Solutions is looking for entry level Facilities Specialists to support a government customer in Huntsville, ALResponsibilitieso Coordinates oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial workWill seek concurrence from senior facility operations specialists to ensure services rendered are within the O&M policy.
o Responsible work order submissions have been processed and ensure all work orders are completed in a timely mannerEnsure work orders are checked monthly to verify the metrics meet our O&M parametersBecome proficient utilizing the facility integration tool for submitting service requestsObtain monthly metrics from the program for executive reporting on service order completion rates.
o Responsible for facility inspections, to include quality assurance on preventive maintenance inspections, and reportsReport any anomalies to the Supervisory Facility Operations Specialists.
o Coordinates and manages moves, additions and change activitiesWorks closely with Space Management to ensure employees have designated seatingWork with senior facility operations specialists and understand the process of Space Management.
o Responsible to obtain proposals from vendors for the procurement of parts, service, and labor for projectsOnce services are completed ensure invoices are accurate and paid on timeWork with senior facility operations specialists to understand the process.
o Other duties as assignedQualifications Minimum
Qualifications:
(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
)o Minimum of one year of related experience.
o Minimum of one year of completion towards associates degree.
o Active TS/SCI clearanceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
o Ability to effectively present informationAbility to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
o Provide input for the annual budgetary formulation for your area of responsibility.
o Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
Recommended Skills Analytical Calculations Communication Landscaping Maintenance Metrics Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
