Computational Software Developer
CFD Research Corp is developing a software framework for multiphysics computational modeling for engineering and biomedical applications.
The framework integrates Finite Volume Method (FVM) based formulation for fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer and Finite Element Method (FEM) based formulation for structural and bio-mechanics.
This immediate job opening is for a scientist/engineer, developer of pressure-based CFD and multiphysics modules within the framework.
This is an exceptional opportunity to be a part of a research team involved in advanced projects with US Government and industry.
The responsibilities include:
o Development of multiscale, multiphysics computational models and softwareo Collaboration with internal teams, academia, industry and US Governmento Contribution to scientific projects, publications and proposalsBasic
Qualifications:
o MS in Computational Biophysics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related field with 2-3 years experience.
o Experience in the development of pressure based finite volume CFD software.
o Experience in scientific computing and C/C+
language programming.
o US Permanent Residency required.
Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is preferred.
Location:
This role is based in the Huntsville, AL area, and is 100% onsite.
