As part of ahardworking team of engineers, you will design and develop combustion devices (injectors, chambers, nozzles, thrusters, igniters, and related components) for various rocket engines and spaceflight systems.
You will be responsible for a combustion device'scomplete product life-cycle from initial requirements through flight qualification including design, manufacturing, test support,performingtest data reviews, processing non-conforming hardware and writing technical reports.
You will need to have a background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer and structural mechanics to be successful.
You will be reporting directly to a Combustion Devices Manager within the Engines business unit.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a B.
S.
degree in engineering discipline (aerospace, mechanical, chemical or physics desired) Subject matter expert in combustion devices through design and development Strong proficiency in data analysis and data processing Strong technical fundamentals in propulsion, fluids, thermodynamics, and combustion analysis Strong knowledge of hardwarefabrication,integrationprocesses and quality control Computer aided design (CAD) experience Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) 8
years of industry experience in a related field Must be a U.
S.
citizen or national, U.
S.
permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.
S.
as a refugee or granted asylum.
