Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with Security Clearance
Overview i3 is seeking a Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support an Army ContractThe selected candidate will provide Information Assurance and Cyber Systems expertise supporting information systems and ATO packagesThe ISSO will have a customer centric approach and provide all levels of support for the user base communityResponsibilitieso Provide direct customer service and Cyber support to local and remote users as required via phone, e-mail, on-line systems and in person.
o Interact and collaborate with ISSOs/ISSMs and Technical teams at various organizational levels.
o Serve as system ISSO or as part of an ISSO team in managing RMF accreditation packages, documentation, and continuous monitoring practices.
o Generate and maintain system documentation such as RMF Artifacts, SSP, SCTM, POA&M, Policies and SOPs.
o Conduct and/or participate in Technical/Cyber meetings with organizational team members.
o Spearhead the integration of established Cyber policies and methodologies in a highly technical environment.
o Conduct, configure, and manage system scans and remediation to meet Army, DISA, and DoD compliance requirements.
o Perform security log reviews utilizing tools such as SCAP, ACAS, GrayLog and others.
o Utilize security-oriented tools such as ACAS to provide reporting on compliance and patching levels.
o Assess, maintain, and continuously monitor the integrity and security of servers, computers, and network devices.
o Utilize and apply strong understanding of Cyber Security systems and practices such as DISA STIG implementation, the Risk Management Framework process, and system hardening methodology.
o Interface with end users by providing guidance on security-based requirements and assisting with continuous monitoring tasks.
o Respond to security events and coordinate efforts to remediate any vulnerabilities or breaches that may have occurred as a result.
o Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assignedQualificationso Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience or 10 years equivalent experienceo Have or able to obtain and maintain active Top Secret Security Clearance or higherSecret clearance is required to start.
o Experience with Special Access Programs (SAPs) is preferred.
o Have and maintain at minimum a DoD 8570 IA Certification (Security
CE).
o Experience using monitoring tools such as ACAS, WSUS, GrayLog and others.
o Strong working knowledge of Cyber Security practices/procedures (DISA STIGs, RMF, SCTM).
o Ability to work with little or no direct supervision and in a team environment.
