Responsibilities We are hiring an Electrical Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
What you'll do:
The ASE PMO IRCM SME oversees and works at a high-visibility level on radar warning receiver, missile warning, laser warning, infrared countermeasure, radar countermeasure systems engineering, test, software development, system architecture design, and platform integration activities.
The position will include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on recommended courses of action, trade studies, architecture and design, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the ASE PMO mission.
Responsible for providing guidance and expertise in mechanical engineering to design complex mechanical equipment and systems, and to investigate, evaluate and develop new applications for existing equipment and systems.
Determines theoretical principles involved in applying advanced analytical and investigative methods and techniques.
Provides specialized and unique experience of at least 35 years of electronic warfare design, manufacture, field support and program execution.
Enabled technology and manufacturing's capability roadmap creation to address mission gaps and affordability, differentiate products and support time-to-market strategies.
Responsible for ensuring required methodology and standardized tools and processes were selected/developed, documented and communicated to the engineering and manufacturing disciplines to effectively meet contractual requirements.
Leader in multi-disciplined engineering for system architectures, technical compliance, customer interface, earned value, and technical problem solving.
Established performance and productivity metrics, talent metrics, leading indicators, organizational efficiency improvement plans, training, tools, knowledge management, hiring, capabilities integration across division and site consolidation.
Qualifications Basic
Qualifications:
The candidate must have a strong understanding of senor to platform integration from a mechanical engineering perspective.
The candidate must:
BA/BS degree 16 yers of experience, 14 years with a MS/MA or 10 years with PhD Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset Radar, laser and missle warning experience Hold an active Secret Clearance Be able to work from the customer facility on a regular basis unless customer approved to work outside the local area Other
Qualifications:
An additional plus is knowledge in PEO Aviation weapon systems and aircraft survivability equipment design, integration, testing and deployment considerations.
