The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses a strong work ethic.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packaging and labeling products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
Receive and Process Shipments:
Unload, inspect, and record incoming shipments of products and materials.
Ensure accurate documentation and proper storage of received items.
Order Picking and Packing:
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on provided packing lists.
Ensure that products are properly labeled and prepared for shipping.
Inventory Management:
Maintain organized inventory storage.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory counts.
Quality Control:
Inspect products for defects and damages.
Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor.
Operate Warehouse Equipment:
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Maintain Cleanliness:
Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Dispose of packaging materials and debris appropriately.
Collaboration:
Work closely with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Communicate effectively with other departments as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer skills for inventory management.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
