Senior Network Administrator *SIGN-ON BONUS* with Security Clearance
Overview i3 is seeking a SrNetwork Administrator to design and maintain DoD computer systems and networks with cyber concepts in mind to verify the DoD customers operating securely and that data is protected from both internal and external threatsCandidate will be responsible for working closely with end users to properly design the network for very specific software functionality needed (i.
e.
, multicast, broadcast, etc.
) Candidate will maintain system security status and ensures compliance to security policies, procedures and standards with regards to the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF)Common tools such as Host Based Security System (HBSS), and DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) will be usedThis position is located in Huntsville, ALResponsibilities Primary Objectives of the SrNetwork Administrator:
o Design, implement, and maintain DoD network.
o Designs and recommends security policies and procedures.
o Monitors, evaluates, and maintains networks/systems according to DoD and industry security best practices.
o Reviews network/system configurations to ensure compliance with security requirements.
o Provide network/system vulnerability scanning via HBSS and ACAS.
o Investigates security violations and recommends solutions.
o Performs handling/tracking of COMSEC material.
o Provides reports to internal and external customers in response to queries and requests.
o Consults on tasks, provides leadership and guidance for others.
o Gives recommendations for product upgrades, patches, and general security measuresQualificationso Bachelors of Science Degree and four (4) years of relevant experienceAdditional experience may be substituted for degree.
o Must have 802.
1X authentication protocol experience.
o Must have Security
or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
o Must have thorough RMF Framework knowledge.
o Experience working with system/network vulnerability scanning tools required.
o Experience with configuring and maintaining networking encryptors, TACLANEs and KGs.
o Experience designing, implementing, and maintain DoD network in a multi-vendor environment.
o Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) is a plus.
o Must have active DoD Secret clearance and be able to maintain the level of clearance required.
