7 years in Systems EngineeringExperience in one for more of the following areas:
tactical command and control systems, tactical weapons systems, tactical sensor systems, software, hardware, requirement decomposition, or MBSE tools and languagesSystem engineering experience in support of DoD programs is highly desired, especially in an Army Air and Missile Defense programHands on experience creating models in Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF are desired.
Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence and SAFe Agile experience are a plusPosition Description:
This is a System Engineer position supporting the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, a government program office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systemsThe candidate in this role will work with contractors, government civilians and system operators to develop system level concepts that provide solutions to problems that often involve multiple systems from multiple product officesThese concepts define external interfaces, outline system behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to support HW and SW engineering teamsTasks may also include leading reviews and adjudicating comments made against the conceptsConcept development will utilize a model-based system engineering (MBSE) approach in an Agile workflow and environment.
