Senior Software BGQ-2109 Huntsville , Alabama Apply Now deciBel Research has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.
Position deciBel Research is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work with a small team in an agile environment, to design, implement and test SW components through the entire SW lifecycle with minimal guidance.
Responsibilities Contribute to software architecture activities, break larger SW modules into smaller, incrementally delivered components and design for reuse and maintainability.
Create and communicate designs, understand, and utilize design patterns, and participate in design reviews.
Good communication skills are a must.
Mentor junior engineers in design, task breakdown and best SW practices.
Participate in peer reviews of other teammates SW implementation and design (e.
g.
code reviews).
Develop unit and integration test strategies on components they have been assigned.
Education A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
Experience This position requires 8
years of related experience.
Special JUnit/NUnit Testing Framework Javadoc for software documentation UML Applicant selected must possess an active Secret security clearance.
