Supply Chain Analyst
Position
Responsibilities:
o Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
o Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain.
o Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers.
o Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.
o Coordinates part number attributes.
o Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.
o Releases and maintains orders.
o Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
o Reports schedule adherence issues.
o Applies developed solutions to inventory plans.
o Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.
o Creates schedules for products and services.
o Coordinates and supports process improvements.
o Works under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
o More than 1 year of experience in supply chain or materials management.
o More than 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
o Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Evaluate supply chain business operations Maintain supply chain performance metrics Reporting with supply chain planning Implement supply chain optimization projects Perform other supply chain functions Participating in lean supply chain Execute the supply chain goals Develop and maintain supply chain SOP Provide adhoc supply chain cost analysis Supporting global supply chain business users Analyze improvement opportunities within supply chain Report on supply chain's performance Reduce obsolete inventory throughout the supply chain Solve transportation and supply chain issues Improve performance throughout the supply chain Maintain supply chain reporting and models Selling in new supply chain programs Manage supply chain vendor partner relationships Analyze and enhance supply chain processes Generate custom supply chain training materials Recommended Skills Auditing Buyer Material Management Procurement Purchasing Supply Chain Management Apply to this job.
