Install, maintain and evaluate network systems and communications systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues involving various protocols, topologies, networking hardware, etc.
Conduct network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies.
Utilize extensive knowledge of internetworking, computer systems, routers, switches, firewalls, and peripherals to enhance understanding of current network designs and to collaborate with other team members to develop new network designs.
Apply technical and business experience and understanding to improve processes and procedures for deploying and maintaining network infrastructure.
Work independently and collectively to help improve network solutions and contribute to network service improvementsREQUIREMENTSActive Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCIMinimum of six (6) years of experience designing, developing, and implementing network solutionsDemonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex Local Area Networking (LAN) issues and resolving Wide Area Networking (WAN) problems and supporting of cost-effective, high-performance IP and LAN/WAN solutions.
Extensive experience with Cisco routing platforms, such as Aggregation Services Routers (ASRs)Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of routing protocols and technologies including BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GREDemonstrated in-depth knowledge of Layer 2 technologies including STP, MST, VLANSExperience providing Tier 3 support and issue resolutionExperience with network design and traffic engineeringExperience providing senior-level engineering supportLarge enterprise environment experienceExcellent communication skills PREFERREDBachelor's degree in relevant fieldCCNP or higherExperience in network engineering within the federal intelligence communityAbility to adhere to a disciplined troubleshooting methodology, and ensure task/mission completion, along with creating and maintaining necessary informationHighly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Border Gateway Protocol Cisco Cisco Certified Network Professional Cisco Switches Communication Apply to this job.
