Network Engineer with Security Clearance
R-00130699 Description Leidos has an immediate opportunity for a Network Engineer I on the Advanced Enterprise Global Information Services (AEGIS) Contract.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentThe Network Engineer I will be positioned in the AEGIS HOSC Networking Group at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama
Job Description:
o Design, engineering, configuration, testing, and documentation of HOSC network architectures in a multi-vendor, multi-protocol environment.
o Handle daily network changes such as router and switch configurations requested by customers.
o Troubleshoot issues.
o Support HOSC Operations during high visibility or critical activities.
o Monitor systems health and status using available tools and techniquesRequired Skills:
o Excellent oral and written communication skills.
o Basic working knowledge of routed data protocols and hardware platforms.
o General understanding of network architectures.
o Ability to multi-task between multiple ongoing projects in order to meet customer requirements and deadlinesDesired Skills:
o Knowledge of and experience using CISCO routers and switches as well as network CheckPoint firewallsRequired Education/
Experience:
o BS and 2 years of experience OR equivalent years of experienceClearance:
Must be able to attain a Public Trust Clearance Original Posting Date:

Pay Range $48,100.
