Facilities Specialist- Entry Level II with Security Clearance
Summary Chenega Integrated Security Solutions is looking for a Facilities Specialists II-Entry level that will escort and monitor non-cleared personnel while standing and walking for long periods throughout the workday and assist with access control for secured areas at a federal government projectResponsibilitieso Escort personnel in various environments such as on construction sites, in office space, or on tours.
o Stand/walk for long periods throughout the workday.
o Wear appropriate safety equipment in accordance with OSHA standards and required by federal law and designated clothing and footwear (the client may require a set uniform, such as khakis / slacks, dress shirt or polo shirt and a coat or blazer -all of a set color selected by the client); the Contractor shall supply consistent uniforms for all personnel required to adhere to this requirement).
o Process visitor requests and/ or requests for site access.
o Support limited background investigations through collecting paperwork and finger printing.
o Conduct random inspections/facility checks supporting physical security specialists and ensuring all security standards are in place and physical security equipment is operational.
o Reporting suspicious activities to security personnelo Create/ issue badges for various sites, restrict or control access to sensitive areas, positively identify authorized personnel through established parameters.
o Handle various other duties as neededo Other duties as assigned Qualificationso High school diploma or equivalent; no required security experience.
o Ability to work a consistent full-time or part-time guard scheduleo Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksiteo Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance Recommended Skills Access Controls Personal Protective Equipment Research Top Secret (Ts Clearance) Construction Transportation Management Apply to this job.
