Human Resources Intern with Security Clearance
Overview i3 is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources Intern to join our team! This internship position will support our Culture, Training and Development, Human Resources and Recruiting team during the Summer 2024 durationResponsibilitieso Provide administrative support of events for the Culture, Training and Development, Human Resources and Recruiting team.o Assist with the planning and execution of team member events.o Execute team member surveys and analyze feedback to seek innovative ways to increase engagement.o Assist with coordination with internal team and vendors and help serve as liaison during the planning process for leadership training and events.o Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment by managing time and effort across multiple projectsQualificationso Working towards obtaining Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Event Management with a minimum GPA of 3.0Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level degree program during (Summer 2024) or continuing an undergraduate or graduate degree program the following semester (Fall 2024) at the time of the internship.o Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.o Energetic team player with ability to contribute in a high-paced environment consistently and positively.o Demonstrated ability to keep information confidential and commitment to produce high-quality work.o Willingness to take direction, learn/grow and tackle repetitive tasks.o Prior experience with event planning is strongly preferred.o Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks, with a strong attention to detail, and execute them in a timely manner.o Demonstrated drive to deliver exceptional customer service and ability to forge strong relationships with team members, business leads, and within HR.o The right candidate will have a concierge mentality, and exemplify service before self, and maintain the highest level of integrityAbout i3 Headquartered in Huntsville, AL, i3 is a national leader in providing innovative technical and engineering solutions to a broad customer base across the U.SDoDSpecializing in missile and aviation engineering and logistic services, electronic warfare and electromagnetic affects analysis, UAS system integration and flight operations, full lifecycle C5ISR engineering services, engineering analysis, cybersecurity and IT/IA innovative solutions and virtual training, simulation & serious game development and implementation.o We were founded in 2007 with the intent to do business differently.o Our focus is to leave our team members and customers better than we found them.o Our ultimate goal is to strengthen our Nation and our warfighterPerks and Benefits at i3:
