Job Overview:
This position is responsible for sourcing and screening physicians by telephone and generating viable candidate leads for D&Y locum assignment opportunities.
Essential Functions
Performs cold calling from various internal and external resources making a minimum of 80 plus outbound calls per day.
Sources and monitors third-party websites for physician lead generation.
Utilizes database to log, track, and organize recruiting activities and maintains a listing of candidates that have been forwarded.
Forwards viable leads to designated sales management personnel for distribution.
Participates in various projects as requested or assigned by Chief Operating Officer.

Job performed in a well-lit, modern office setting.
Occasional lifting/ carrying (15 pounds or less).
Occasional standing/ bending/ stooping/ reaching.

This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.

Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with some college desired.
Experience in making a high volume of outbound calls and documenting call results in a database system; one or more years of successful telemarketing experience desired.
Must possess excellent and confident verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment performing multiple tasks.
Must be able to work independently without supervision.
Must possess excellent computer skills (preferably Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, database, etc.);
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to handle confidential data.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
