## Description
SUMMARY
Assemblers are responsible for building various cable designs and harnesses in accordance with AAR and Contract requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handling of non-toxic and toxic chemicals and/or substances in a safe manner.
Audit kits to ensure all materials are on hand to begin work.
Knowledge of how to read, understand and interpret drawings and wiring schematics.
3-4 years of experience in Cable Build and Harness Assembly.
Be able to perform associated work with little or no supervision.
Perform all tasks in accordance with work orders, workmanship standards, OEM specifications and assembly instructions.
Familiar with all different types of cabling. Cat5, Coax, Mil-Spec connectors
Familiar with Foreign Object Detection(FOD), Electrostatic Discharge(ESD), and Safety.
Must be willing to work overtime to meet deadlines.
All other duties as assigned.

Have working knowledge of technical specifications in order to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR Quality
Procedures Manual (QPM), Quality System Workmanship Standards (QSWS), Quality System Bulletins (QSB) and/or customer
requirements.
Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment, soldering equipment, and crimping tools

## Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have a minimum of 2-3 year related experience and/or
training.
Previous experience in J-STD-001 (Soldering) IPC WHMA-A-620A (Wire Harness and Cable Assembly)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required: Current Certification in IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness
Current Certification in IPC J-STD-001 E Requirements for Solder Electrical and Electronic Assemblies
