Seeking individual to perform set up of thermoforming machines for new production runs with frequent die and tooling changeovers. The plant produces a variety of products for food and medical applications including blister packs, blister boxes, yogurt cups, medical clamshell packaging etc.
Requirements:
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, break down, maintenance and cleaning of dies and trimming equipment for thermoforming and vacuum forming processes.
- Familiarity with vacuum forming processes, able to input production parameters into a machine using a computer.
- Ability to perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components of industrial manufacturing equipment.
Shall:
- Conduct preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
- Identify presence of problems and diagnose specifics through troubleshooting.
- Set up machines for new product runs, filling roll stations, cleaning forming stations, inserting and aligning dies to sheet height, troubleshooting inline trim presses etc. for 6
changeovers per day.
This position offers compensation up to $30 an hour with time and a half rate for overtime. Full benefits paid by company. Paid training on equipment and plant specific standard operating procedures. PTO for personal days, vacations and holidays.
