Summary
Performs or works as a team member in determination of basic methodology, models, computer applications resource estimating techniques and relationships, and cost/economic data analysis and validation to be used in studies and analyses. Plans accomplishment of study or assigned portion of larger study:
delineates scope of study; develops and specifies assumptions; determines data needs, availability, and sources; identifies and recommends participation by other organizations; and proposes schedule. Performs, directs or works as a team member in study performance:
prepares study directive; selects methodology; collects data; conducts analysis; identifies recommendations; and prepares report or briefing of results and rationale.
Duties & Responsibilities

Perform Cost Benefit Analysis (CBAs) and develop metrics in support of resource informed decision making for Headquarters, Army Material Command (Redstone Arsenal, AL)

Research and interpret current Army equipping policy and strategy as a member of a senior team of researchers

Identify overlaps between existing capabilities

Identify excessive redundancy

Develop strategic future plans for materiel distribution/redistribution operations

Required to brief progress and findings to General Officer(s) at the Army staff level

Integrate analytical capabilities and application of logistics principles.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

Must have an active DoD Secret clearance

Minimum of a Bachelor s degree (Masters preferred)

Minimum of five (5) years directly related work experience in Army Property Book & Asset Visibility

Familiarity with Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-Army)

Familiarity with Property Book Unit Supply Enhance (PBUSE)

Familiarity with Logistic Information system (LIS)

Strong problem solving skills, including research design and methodology development is required

Communicate professionally in a clear and concise manner (verbal/written/reporting/presentation skills)

Senior level experience in Army logistics is desirable.

Intermediate proficiency level in Microsoft Office Suite applications (includes MS Project, MS Excel Spreadsheets & MS Access)
Work Environment & Physical Demands
General office environment; may occasionally be required to lift up to 20lbs
Must be able to walk, bend, reach and sit for extended periods of time.
