The DevOps Engineer will bridge the gap between the software development and the system administration teams.
The software is used by military medial planners to more effectively allocate resources, assess risks, estimate casualties, and determine mission readiness.
The candidate is expected to be an active member of the team, show initiative to resolve problems, meet project commitments, and effectively communicate issues and accomplishments to team members and customers.
The candidate should have a strong desire to innovate and help our team increase its efficiency in producing quality software products.
Day to day responsibilities include the following:
Administer internal and external systems hosting products such as DeskPro (User support), Gurock TestRail (Test case management), and Microsoft Azure DevOps (Configuration management and source control)Manage the software release process for up to three different software applicationsBuild and manage an automated test framework This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance to the level of Secret Candidates must possess:

degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar program0-2 years of experience in software developmentExperience with software development for Microsoft Windows applications Experience with scripting languages such as Batch, PowerShell, R, etc.
Strong written and verbal communications skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office productsAbility and desire to learn new skillsDesirable Skills and Characteristics:
Experience in software development using C#, C+

NET frameworkExperience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps, formerly Team Foundation Server (TFS)Experience with relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)Experience with creating automated unit tests within Microsoft Visual Studio.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or other cloud providersExperience using Linux.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
