Plant Manager Responsible for a (Large Plant) as defined by complexity, plant head count, and revenue.

Accountable for obtaining the performance goals including revenue growth, profitability, cash generation, customer satisfaction, technology development, operational excellence, manufacturing, business development, strategic planning and talent development.
Will be an integral member of the organization team guiding program development and organization implementation.

Key Job Responsibilities

Full responsibility for the P&L and overall plant performance ensuring top line sales targets are met through profitable growth.
Prepares and manages annual and long-range plans, to include safety, quality, customer service, shipments, variances, productivity improvement, capital investment, and inventory for the site.
Analyzing variances, compiling and studying costs and trends, and taking proactive measures to cultivate continuous, significant performance improvements.

Develops and implements programs for manufacturing rationalization and standardization via equipment selection, plant layout, operating procedures, goal setting, Lean culture, focused factories, and appropriate KPI s to ensure high and consistent quality, high and consistent customer service, and lowest total manufacturing cost throughout the location.

Have accountability for establishing and meeting commitments for on-time, on-budget product delivery for new & existing products, including quality.
Encouraging product line growth strategies via product line rationalization and developing plans on new products and exiting legacy products.
Conducts capacity analysis and improvement to meet demands

Ensures that site production capacity is utilized to the best possible level while maintaining world class quality and lowest total cost.
Ensures that effective manufacturing systems are in place at all plants to enhance effectiveness.
Proactively resolve technical, people, and production issues to ensure success of the team and consistent production of products.

Lead the Safety Leadership Committee and develop the site Safety Flight Plan and monitor progress and clear any organizational barriers that may prevent achieving goal of 100% Safe.
Establish and enforce safety environment.
Ensure compliance with company standards for revenues, efficiencies, cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete on-time delivery.

Maintains excellent relationships with plant teams to ensure maximum flexibility and effectiveness in operations.
Develops a performance-driven culture through PPM, succession planning, implementation of reward systems, and team member development in the organization that includes a meaningful succession plan.

Education , Work Experience, Skills, Certificates Minimum Level of Education (for Job):

Bachelor s Degree Years of Relevant Work Experience Required:
8-10 Years Preferred Areas of Education, Certifications, and Skills:
4-year secondary degree, plus advanced degree preferred.
8
years of experience in operations and plant management is preferred.
Experience in continuous process manufacturing is highly preferred
